Obituary for Raymond Edward Bevier

Raymond Edward Bevier, 93, died on July 9, 2018 at the Grove Nursing Center. Raymond was born on August 19, 1924 in Jefferson City, Missouri. He was the son of Lynn C. Bevier and Clintie (Cook) Bevier. Raymond graduated from Webb City High School in 1943. He worked as a mechanic repairing hydraulics for Vicker’s in Joplin from 1950 to 1985. He was a Scout Leader, Cub Scout Leader, and he coached the cub scouts in baseball. Raymond was a 75 year member of the Presbyterian Church in Webb City then in Grove, where he served as an elder and as a deacon.

He was preceded in death by one daughter Judith Ann Bevier. He is survived by his wife Anna of the home, his son Keith Bevier of Grove, two grandchildren Ryan and Laura and two great-grandchildren; Kailyn and Emma.

Memorial services will be held on July 22, 2018 at the Grace Presbyterian Church in Grove, Oklahoma starting at 12:00 noon. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ellis Family Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma.
